WWW Wednesday – 2nd September 2020

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! A tag thing hosted by Sam at ‘Taking on a World of Words‘ and completed on a weekly basis by hunners of book bloggers across the globe.

What the fluffin’ fluff is WWW Wednesday? I hear you cry! It’s simple:

What are you currently reading?

What have you recently finished reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

Here’s my WWW Wednesday reads

One of my current reads is Venators: Legends Rise by Devri Walls. This is the 3rd (and final) instalment in the Venators series and I do not want it to end. This is part of a Blog Tour and my review will be up in the very near future. The Venators series has been a joy to read so far – vampires, shape shifters, werewolves, pixies, nixies, dragons… what exactly is there NOT to love?!

My other current read is Milkman by Anna Burns. Check me out reading a Booker Prize winner! This is the audiobook which is fabulous – the narrator Bríd Brennan is amazing. The story is tough going as no names of people or places are ever mentioned but I am thoroughly enjoying it nevertheless. As usual audiobooks are slow going for me – anyone else find they have to keep going back every so often as you’ve zoned out and lost the thread of what’s happening with an audiobook??

Recently finished a re-read of Killing Floor by Lee Child. Just to fall a little bit in love with Jack None Reacher all over again.

My next read will be for another Blog Tour. Kids book The Beast and the Bethany by Jack Meggitt-Phillips is going to be EVERYWHERE and has already been optioned for film by Warner Bros. Not released into the wild until 1st October 2020 the publisher Egmont has very, very kindly sent me an incredibly cool advance review copy of the book. Review coming 20th September.

That’s my take on WWW Wednesday – anyone else read Milkman? I’d love to hear your thoughts on that one.
