UPDATE November 2020
Laura at Roachie’s Reviews tagged me to complete her new book tag challenge thing – you can see the original post here. That was August… we are now in November so I thought I’d do a wee update to see how we’re getting on *spoiler* – Not great.
Creativity by John Cleese.
I have read this one. It’s only a tiddler at less than 100 pages. Unfortunately it wasn’t a great 100 pages. Creativity is pretty much ‘Mindfulness’ by John Cleese. But without the insight. Or the humour. Wouldn’t recommend. BUT I have got a signed copy so that’s nice.
Venators Legends Rise by Devri Walls
I have read this one. My review went up a few weeks ago as part of a blog tour. Part 3 of the Venators series and it’s epic. Love. Highly recommended!
A Song for the Dark Times by Ian Rankin
Not read. Not even bought yet. Not gonna be able to read it until then am I?
Fair Warning by Michael Connelly
Not read. I do own a copy of this one though so that’s a step in the right direction!
All the Lonely People by Mike Gayle
Not read. Copy sitting gathering dust on the shelf.
How to Fail by Elizabeth Day
Not read. Do not own. I need no guidance on How to Fail it would seem.
The Five by Hallie Rubenhold
Not read. Another one that’s been sitting looking at me accusingly from the shelf since April…
Westwind by Ian Rankin
Not read. Bought on the day of release and subsequently taken to Granite Noir in February for Mr Rankin to sign. Has sat on the shelf since. I am a bad person.
The Naseby Horses by Dominic Brownlow
I’VE READ THIS ONE!! A very creepy, atmospheric, almost poetic novel. Highly recommended!
The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
Have not read, do not own. But given the number of reviews and quotes I’ve read since it’s publication I probably don’t actually NEED to read it.
Sooo… 3/10… there’s still plenty time until December 31st. Ages. Think I’ll do it? Place your bets now!
