Ruth in Revolt

Today’s Featured Blogger is everyone’s favourite cheer-leaderRuth in Revolt!  She very kindly appraised my last blog (Books’n’Bits) and her ACE suggestions have resulted in its relaunch as Online Blanket Fort!  Here she is:

Who are you?

I’m Ruth!

What’s your blog address?

What’s the name of your blog?

Ruth in Revolt

When did you start?

I started on the 23rd of April 2018.

WHY did you start?

I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety and felt like I had a lot to say. Plus, as I was receiving treatment, I started to feel better in myself and gained some confidence to put myself out there on the world wide web!

What sort of posts do you feature?

There’s a little bit of everything going on, but I try and give everything a positive and helpful feel.

Ever made yourself a blanket fort?

Not in far too long. It’s overdue!

What 3 essentials would you have in your Blanket Fort?

Bourbon biscuits, a cup of tea and good company.

Blogging can be a very personal thing… have you told your friends and family that you have a blog?

I have, and they’ve been wonderfully supportive.

What are your passions, what makes you happy?

Making other people feel good, however I can, whether it’s in life or online.

Describe your happy place for us.

By the sea. I think, like many people, the vastness of it makes me realise 1) the world is amazing and it’s good to be part of it and 2) me and my problems are kind of small in comparison. Plus, I love the sound of the waves, whether they’re gentle or crashing down, it just brings me peace.

Last one – If you were a sweetie… what would you be?

Oh, um, I wasn’t expecting this question, and I’m hopeless at answering these. I’m going to say a gummy bear because they’re colourful, squishy and cute (which is how most other people seem to describe me.)
