Hannah’s Questions

Would you rather go to Hogwarts or Narnia?

As I’ve never read any of the Narnia books (I know, I know… it’s on my to-do list, promise) I’ll have to say Hogwarts.

Would you rather be an author or a publisher?

Definitely a publisher, I don’t think I could take the criticism that comes with being an author!

Would you rather have your favourite book turned into a movie or a TV show? Also, what is your favourite book?!

A movie, it’s already been done as a TV Series – Good Omens!

Would you rather dog-ear your pages or never be able to mark your page?

I am a monster – dog-ear! The chances of me remembering what page I was on are zero.

Would you rather be a character in Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter? (What kind of character would you be?)

Lord of the Rings! I would be a beautiful and elegant and magical elf like Arwen. And I’d be marrying Aragorn. Win-win.

Would you only be able to read one book forever or to never read the same book twice?

Never read the same book twice. I very rarely go back and read books…

Would you rather lend a book to someone who dog-ears pages or stains the pages?

Dog-ear. Tea or coffee or other miscellaneous stains? No thanks. And double-standards but I wouldn’t lend to anyone who takes books in the bath – even though I do that ha!

Would you rather have dinner with your favourite character or your favourite author? Who would it be?

I’d love to have dinner with John Rebus in the Oxford Bar. Although, ‘dinner’ would probably be a pie and a pint.

Would you rather read a book that ends with a huge cliffhanger or read one where your favourite character dies?

Erm… I’m not fussed for either. A cliffhanger is always good but if they were being killed off in an excellent and gruesome fashion then I’d be happy to say cheerio.

Would you rather live in a library or a bookshop?

Bookshop. Libraries don’t always get the new releases very quickly 🙂

My Questions

Would you rather use a used tissue or a used plaster/ band-aid as a bookmark? (Setting the tone early)

Would you rather never read an ebook again or never listen to an audiobook again?

Would you rather only have 50 Shades of Grey or Twilight to read over and over for the rest of your life?

Would you rather never buy or own a book again or never use a library again?

Would you rather your favourite author stopped writing altogether or kept writing but killed off your favourite character in a highly unsatisfactory manner?

Would you rather read on an ebook or an actual book with pages?

Your favourite copy of your favourite book has come back from your very Best Friend not only water damaged but also with ripped pages and notes in the margin. Would you rather flay them alive or burn them alive?
